The atmosphere balances casual charm with a touch of spirited warmth. Inside, you’ll find sturdy wooden tables close enough to fuel conversation but spaced just right for quiet dinner chats. From folks catching up over cocktails to families sharing a meal, Green Valley Getaway effortlessly serves as a backdrop to genuine human moments.
Food here is uncomplicated but thoughtfully prepared, the kind that echoes local tastes and familiar comforts. The generosity of toppings on their thin-crust pizzas reflects pride and care—each slice a neat balance of crispy edge and savory delight. For those leaning toward heartier fare, the breaded pork tenderloin sandwich, enriched with smoky bacon and a touch of maple-sweet sauce, invites you to experience a regional specialty elevated with subtle flavors. A well-poured Moscow Mule or classic Old Fashioned pairs naturally with the menu, rounding out an evening that feels refreshingly personal, not rushed.

This was my Dad's Thursday night hanging with the guys place. Great place with cold beer and great food! In Noertheast Iowa, be sure to check it out and have the breaded pork tenderloin sandwich. It comes with 2 strips of bacon and maple bacon sauce that finishes it so well! A must eat!

Grilled pork sand was good & their BLT. Got thin crust cheese pizza which was really big and ok. Lots of beer selection. Outdoor seating & indoor. Popular with locals hanging out. Would certainly go back.

I have drove by this place probably 100's of times and never knew it was there. A friend recommended it and I'm glad we gave it a try! Had the ribs and boy were they good. They had a nice sauce, not to tangy, not to sweet. The coleslaw and fries were also good. Looking at the menu and also the other very full tables I would have to say it looks like their pizza is also very popular. I would feel comfortable bring younger kids here to eat. Pretty casual. I would definitely go back.

Long time overdue, but wanted to share my five start review because I don’t want the good things to ever change! As the one last pizza joint in town, please keep this legendary. Thank you for putting the toppings all the way out to the edge! Thin crispy crust. Muy bien. Don’t ever change!

Went here with a group of friends for dinner and was pleasantly surprised. We had the cheese curds, pizza, pork sandwich and grilled chicken wrap. Everything was delicious! Wonderful service too.

Best ribs I’ve ever had in a restaurant. Only a couple ladies working, so service was good, but slow. The only reason I didn’t give it a five star rating was because of the noise. Even with only a few patrons, conversations from nearby tables could be heard plainly (and TMI). Maybe some softer textures would help absorb some noise. Cool place in an old barn. Be sure to check it out. And order the ribs.
